About the role#
This co-op opportunity is for students interested in how enterprise-scale AI and analytics platforms are built, operated, and improved. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support AI operations and cloud platform initiatives. The role focuses on implementing infrastructure, automation patterns, and contributing to the reliability and security of systems used across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist with enabling and supporting cloud-based AI services, such as AWS SageMaker and Snowflake.
- Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Help implement and improve automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Cloud, Security, Architecture, Data Science, and Analytics teams.
- Observe and assist with operational support tasks, including monitoring and incident follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest practical solutions.
- Apply automation-first and DevOps practices to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Initiative and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
- Basic understanding of services such as IAM, S3, or managed AI services.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts, specifically CloudFormation.
- Programming or scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD, Git, or DevOps concepts.
- An interest in AI, machine learning, analytics platforms, or platform engineering.

- This role requires Reliability Security Clearance, which includes a law enforcement inquiry and a credit check.
