About the role#
Sun Life is seeking a Medical Intelligence Co-op to join the U.S. Health and Risk Solutions team. This role supports the development of training materials and resources for provider research across more than 40 specialties. You will gain hands-on experience in healthcare research and navigation while working alongside Medical Intelligence Analysts and Team Leads.
What you'll do#
- Research and compile data to build a resource library for provider identification.
- Work with analysts to create standard operating procedures for research tasks.
- Support team leads with updates to the internal SharePoint site.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university for the January 2027 to June 2027 period.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in healthcare information management, health administration, public health, nursing, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the co-op.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong internet research skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Adobe products.
- Experience in healthcare research or the healthcare field is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Location: Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (candidates must be able to commute to the Wellesley office).
- Compensation: This is a paid position at $25 per hour.
