About the role#
As a Telecommunication Student, you will support our enterprise telephony platform, Genesys Cloud. You will handle administrative tasks and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain system performance. This full-time, paid position offers a 16-week term with the possibility of extension. You will work in a hybrid model, requiring two days per week in the office.
What you'll do#
- Manage user accounts by processing additions, deletions, and changes within Genesys Cloud.
- Maintain accurate user profiles, extensions, and queue assignments to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Troubleshoot telephony incidents, including call quality, connectivity, and configuration errors.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to current workflows and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal support teams to streamline escalation paths and resolve complex issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and an organized approach to tasks.
- A curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn about the insurance industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Work location: Guelph, Burlington, or Mississauga, Ontario.
- Work modality: Hybrid (two days in office).
- Compensation: $23 to $27 per hour.
- Requirements: Successful candidates must pass a background check.
