About the role#
As an SEO Intern at Stride, you will support digital marketing efforts for our K12-powered schools. This is a part-time, remote position requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week. You will assist with keyword research, website optimization, and technical analysis to help prospective parents discover our educational programs. This role offers practical experience in technical and on-page SEO, exposure to industry-standard tools, and mentorship from our marketing and analytics professionals.
What you'll do#
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improved search rankings across school websites.
- Assist with on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content updates.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Track SEO metrics and prepare monthly performance reports for the team.
- Create SEO-optimized content, such as blog posts, landing pages, and website copy.
- Perform technical audits to identify and document website issues affecting search performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- A basic understanding of search engine optimization principles and best practices.
- Working knowledge of content management systems, specifically WordPress.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create optimized content.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

- This position is fully remote and open to residents of the United States.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
- The anticipated pay rate is $20.00 per hour.
