About the role#
Stride, Inc. is hiring a Marketing Intern for a 6-month, part-time position. You will work 20 hours per week supporting marketing efforts for K12-powered schools. This role focuses on helping prospective parents understand our educational programs through various digital channels and administrative projects.
What you'll do#
- Create graphics and videos for social media platforms.
- Assist with developing marketing materials and presentations.
- Evaluate social media metrics and prepare performance reports for the team.
- Manage social media content via an editorial calendar.
- Collaborate with school staff to highlight student stories.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing department.
- Contribute ideas during content planning meetings and webinar planning.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or Journalism.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong project and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and web tools.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Experience with WordPress, SEO, Canva, video editing, or social media management tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote position available to residents of all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
- The internship is paid at $20.00 per hour.
