About the role#
As a Business Valuation intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on engagements involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax, estate planning, and litigation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, Ohio. You will gain direct exposure to clients and work alongside senior professionals on real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on industries, markets, and specific companies to support valuation assumptions.
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and value drivers.
- Prepare due diligence questions and review supporting documentation.
- Build and analyze financial models, including Discounted Cash Flow, Guideline Public Company, and Merger and Acquisition models.
- Participate in meetings with clients or management to discuss methodologies and conclusions.
- Create deliverables such as presentations, analysis packets, and written narratives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0, though a 3.5 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- The ability to interpret complex financial data and synthesize findings.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Relevant internship or extracurricular experience is preferred.
