About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and leadership. You will join the sales team to work directly with customers while learning how different parts of the business function. Throughout the summer, you will gain exposure to departments such as merchandising, e-commerce, human resources, and accounting. This role includes paid training and coaching to help you develop professional sales and management skills.
What you'll do#
- Ask probing questions to understand customer needs.
- Guide customers through the store and direct them to relevant products.
- Explain product differences to help customers make informed choices.
- Arrange payment and delivery for sales.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Follow up with customers via phone calls or thank you notes.
- Use sales techniques while following company procedures.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction in all interactions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration or Marketing program.
- Comfort using and training on computer systems.
- Availability to work standard retail business hours, including nights and weekends.
