About the role#
As a Sales and Management Intern, you will work directly with the Store Manager to learn the retail business. You will focus on sales, merchandising, and store operations while developing your leadership skills. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests and provide service by answering questions and helping them find merchandise.
- Achieve personal sales goals and track your progress.
- Manage a specific product category, set goals for that category, and educate other teammates on it.
- Complete training modules including Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring.
- Perform operational tasks such as opening and closing registers, processing transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Provide weekly reports and updates to Area and District Managers.
- Participate in monthly conference calls and team meetings.
- Use company tools like the Performance Tracker to monitor department results.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field.
- No prior retail experience or training is required.
- You have an interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- You are able to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, jump, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- You can lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

- Location: Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA.
- This is a paid, part-time, on-site internship.
- The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
