About the role#
As a Sales and Management Intern, you will work closely with the Store Manager to understand how our retail business operates. This role focuses on developing your leadership and management skills while you contribute to our mission of creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. You will gain hands-on experience in sales, merchandising, and store operations.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide helpful service throughout the store.
- Complete required sections of the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and hiring.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating your teammates, and tracking your progress.
- Perform operational tasks including cashiering, merchandise display, and maintaining register procedures.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area and District Managers.
- Participate in monthly conference calls and complete assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study.
- No prior experience or training is required for this position.
- You must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- You have the physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Cypress, Texas.
- This position is a rolling term.
