About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in our Denver, Colorado office. You will work within our Transportation team, gaining hands-on experience in drainage, highway, intersection, and site design. This role focuses on supporting general civil engineering tasks for both local and international projects.
What you'll do#
- Complete transportation design and drafting tasks using Microstation or AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with task leads and design teams to solve engineering problems and generate high-quality project documents.
- Prepare and verify design computations and quantity estimates.
- Assist with occasional field-related tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year college or university, with at least Sophomore standing.
- Active pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Local residency in the Denver, CO area.
- A working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience with other engineering design and analysis software is a plus.
