About the role#
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for the Transportation team in Phoenix, AZ. This internship offers exposure to drainage design, highway and intersection design, and civil engineering site projects. You will gain hands-on experience by working on local, national, and international projects.
What you'll do#
- Complete transportation design and drafting tasks using Microstation or AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with task leads and design teams to solve engineering problems.
- Produce high quality design documents.
- Prepare and check design computations and quantity estimates.
- Perform occasional field tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year university, having attained at least Sophomore status.
- Active pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience with engineering design and analysis software is a plus.
- Please note that this role requires you to be local to the Denver, CO area.
