Job Title - Student Intern, Electrical Transmission & Distribution Location - Des Moines, IA Job Type - Onsite Requisition ID - 11333 Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Transmission Student Intern for our Des Moines, IA office. What You Will Be Doing: • Support project teams, marketing, business development, and technical support. • Development of transmission line design parameters, technical design and project review. • Development of transmission standards and specifications, preparation of studies and reports. • Assists in the collection and analysis of data from reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects. • Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, materials lists, permits and designs for projects. • Assists designers/technicians to reduce designs to working drawings. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelors in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering. • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Candidate must be able to work in the United States legally for any length of time.
