About the role#
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to join the Energy team in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a full-time, paid position focused on electrical transmission and distribution projects. You will work on-site and support our project teams with technical design and business development tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with marketing, business development, and technical tasks.
- Develop transmission line design parameters and review project designs.
- Create transmission standards, specifications, reports, and studies.
- Collect and analyze data from maps, reports, drawings, and aerial photos for project planning.
- Prepare or modify plans, construction schedules, material lists, permits, and environmental impact studies.
- Work with designers and technicians to turn designs into working drawings.
- Use computer-aided engineering software to prepare design documents.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
