About the role#
Stanley Consultants is hiring a Transmission Student Intern for our office in Jackson, Michigan. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term. You will work on-site as part of the energy team.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with marketing, business development, and technical tasks.
- Develop transmission line design parameters, technical designs, and project reviews.
- Create transmission standards, specifications, studies, and reports.
- Collect and analyze data from reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to assist in project planning.
- Help prepare or modify reports, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, materials lists, and permits.
- Work with designers and technicians to turn concepts into working drawings.
- Use computer-assisted engineering software to prepare design documents.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for any length of time without sponsorship.
