About the role#
This internship is part of our Prelaunch program, a three-month development journey for students. You will work alongside experienced engineering consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts. The role focuses on building your technical skills while developing the mindset of a consultant. You will contribute to project work and receive mentorship throughout the summer.

What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in your field through internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- Creative thinking skills with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset focused on continuous growth.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
Location & details#
- Locations: Los Angeles, CA or San Jose, CA.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Status: Full-time and paid position.
- Compensation: $18 to $35 per hour, depending on location, education, and experience.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
