About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse for the Urology Unit in Edgewood. This is a PRN position that offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting under the guidance of experienced nursing staff.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Support personal care and comfort for patients.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for your assigned group of patients.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Successful completion of your first clinical rotation.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- You must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
Location & details#
- Location: Edgewood, Kentucky.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every third weekend and a rotating holiday schedule.
- Employment Type: PRN.
