About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse for the Urology Unit in Edgewood, Kentucky. This role provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN. You will assist with daily patient needs while gaining practical experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide for personal care and comfort.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for your assigned group of patients.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of your first clinical rotation.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Not listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Edgewood, Kentucky.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with two 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM). Availability Monday through Friday is required, along with participation in a holiday rotation.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
