About the role#
Creative Solutions In HealthCare is hiring a Student Nurse Aide for a full-time position in Ganado, Texas. This role offers hands-on experience in long-term care for nursing students. You will work on-site to provide direct resident support under supervision.
What you'll do#
- Provide personal care including grooming, bathing, peri care, and dressing.
- Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
- Support nursing staff with non-nursing tasks such as making beds, passing water and ice, and organizing supplies.
- Answer call lights and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
- Assist with range of motion exercises and reality orientation.
- Identify and report any conditions that require management attention.
What you'll need#
- Written proof of completion of 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school or instructor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-discipline, patience, and a commitment to serving others.
- Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and documentation protocols.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Respect for the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
