About the role#
Creative Solutions In HealthCare is hiring a Student Nurse Aide to work at Parkview Manor in Weimar, Texas. This full-time position offers hands-on experience in long-term care. You will work under supervision to provide direct support to residents while gaining practical knowledge in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide personal care including grooming, bathing, and dressing.
- Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Reposition residents regularly and monitor skin integrity.
- Support the nursing staff with tasks such as making beds, passing water, and organizing supplies.
- Engage in reality orientation with residents.
- Identify and report resident conditions that require management attention.
What you'll need#
- Written proof of completion of 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school or instructor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow documentation protocols.
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Reliability and the ability to work cooperatively within a team.
