About the role#
We are looking for a Student Nurse Aide to join the team at La Bahia Nursing and Rehabilitation. This role provides direct support to residents in a long-term care setting. You will gain practical experience while helping our nursing staff maintain a high standard of care. This is a full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning.
- Change bed linens and keep resident rooms organized.
- Support staff by passing water and ice, answering call lights, and managing supplies.
- Lead reality orientation sessions and help residents with range of motion exercises.
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to management.
What you'll need#
- Written proof of completion of 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school or instructor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow documentation protocols.
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
