About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse (SNAP) for the Urology Unit at our Edgewood location. This is a part-time position designed for students currently pursuing their nursing education who want to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with their daily living activities.
- Support patient comfort and personal care needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for your assigned patients.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of at least your first clinical rotation.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- You must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
Location & details#
- Location: Edgewood, Kentucky.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, totaling 20 hours per week. You will work one 12-hour shift (7:00AM to 7:00PM) and one 8-hour shift (7:00AM to 3:00PM) between Monday and Friday. Participation in a holiday rotation is required.
