About the role#
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse (SNAP) for the Urology Unit at our Edgewood location. This role allows nursing students to gain hands-on experience by providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with daily activities and personal comfort.
- Support patient care tasks as directed by nursing staff.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for your assigned patients.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of your first clinical rotation.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- You must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
Location & details#
- Location: Edgewood, Kentucky.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts from 7:00AM to 3:00PM and 3:00PM to 11:00PM. This includes every third weekend and a holiday rotation.
- Employment Type: PRN (as needed).
