About the role#
This is a summer internship for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering. You will work on a specific project from the start of the summer through the end, culminating in a presentation at our project expo. This program aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional work through hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and analyze data to support engineering projects.
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of new or modified equipment, components, and systems.
- Support data collection for root cause investigations, failure analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Use CAD software to create or revise drawings and models.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate your progress and final results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing an Engineering degree.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with solid modeling software.
