About the role#
The Sales eCommerce Intern will support the growth of online retail accounts, specifically Walmart.com and SamsClub.com. This summer internship provides hands-on experience in digital sales, online retail analytics, and marketplace management. You will work with the Sales and eCommerce teams to optimize product performance and support revenue growth initiatives. Each intern will develop a project timeline, provide progress updates, and deliver a final presentation at a senior leadership expo.
What you'll do#
- Manage product listings and online content across retail platforms.
- Support new product launches and initiatives to expand online assortments.
- Maintain retailer compliance requirements and platform standards.
- Analyze sales trends, traffic metrics, conversion data, and product performance.
- Identify opportunities for sales growth, inventory improvements, and assortment optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, customer service, and product management teams.
- Troubleshoot listing issues and assist with retailer portal maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Familiarity with systems thinking and process management.
