About the role#
This internship focuses on marketing Allegion Multifamily Solutions to developers. You will use data, AI tools, and prospecting strategies to identify and qualify high-value opportunities for the multifamily sales team. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 position based on-site in Wilmington, Delaware.
What you'll do#
- Develop marketing strategies to target multifamily developers.
- Use digital tools and marketing collateral to differentiate Allegion solutions.
- Review Dodge construction data to identify target opportunities and create account queries for the sales team.
- Utilize AI to generate target lists and identify senior-level contacts.
- Build prospecting skills by reaching out to developers and owners through email, social media, and telephone calls.
- Collaborate with Multifamily Consultants and Virtual Sales Consultants to share qualified leads.
- Document prospecting efforts in the CRM, including call reports and product forecasting.
- Participate in product training and project tracker meetings.
- Learn how new construction and renovation projects are developed, furnished, and completed.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, architecture, construction, or a related field.
- Completion of your junior year by the start of the internship.
- Demonstrated leadership ability through school clubs, sports, or work projects.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to a group.
- High internal motivation, creativity, and a competitive spirit.
- Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and technologically savvy.
- A passion for building professional relationships.
