About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in technical sales, channel support, and business development within the utility and electrical markets. You will support sales operations and customer engagement for BURNDY products. The program lasts 10 to 12 weeks and offers exposure to corporate business functions.
What you'll do#
- Provide product and pricing support to customers and distributors.
- Respond to inquiries and assist with order and shipment tracking.
- Prepare project submittals and conduct product demonstrations.
- Participate in trade shows and customer events.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with team members.
- Present a summary of your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
