About the role#
This summer internship offers a chance to work with senior leadership on projects that shape how the company identifies and pursues new business. You will help refine the processes used to assess Requests for Proposal (RFPs), track growth metrics, and use AI tools to support business development. This role is a fit for students interested in strategic planning, financial analysis, or technology-enabled business transformation.
What you'll do#
- Support customer and business opportunity qualification.
- Evaluate incoming RFPs and customer requests.
- Conduct research on markets, industries, and competitors.
- Build business cases and assessments to guide growth decisions.
- Create executive-level reports, presentations, and growth summaries.
- Define and track key business development and pipeline metrics.
- Build dashboards to improve visibility into opportunity pipelines.
- Use AI tools to organize, summarize, and analyze business information.
- Support initiatives focused on customer acquisition and new market opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, engineering, finance, and marketing.
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Finance, Financial Analytics, Economics, International Business, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with data, business metrics, and financial modeling.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
- Organizational and project management capabilities.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn emerging technologies, including AI.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, CRM systems, and data visualization software.
