About the role#
Jabil is hiring engineering interns for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience in manufacturing and engineering environments. Interns work on projects, engage with leadership, and participate in professional development and networking events. You will work on-site in either Salt Lake City or Grantsville, Utah.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects and tasks assigned by your functional manager.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, processes, and documentation.
- Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and company policies.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to help with decision-making and process improvements.
- Identify issues, gather information, and help develop practical solutions.
- Support the creation of process documentation, work instructions, and operational procedures.
- Maintain flexibility to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an engineering degree program, specifically Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date of May 2027, August 2027, or a recent 2026 graduate.
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Experience with general PC use and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data, graphs, and basic metrics.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
