About the role#
We are looking for a high school or trade school student to join our team as a Mold Process Technician Co-Op. You will work in our Mold Qualification Center alongside experienced Engineers and Technicians. This role provides hands-on experience with precision mold making, plastic injection molding, and general manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist Engineers and Technicians with mold preparation, setup, and qualification tasks.
- Learn to operate plastic injection molding equipment under supervision.
- Collect molded samples and organize parts for inspection.
- Support mold cleaning, inspections, and preparation for testing.
- Document qualification activities and maintain accurate records.
- Learn to identify mold components, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety and health regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in high school or trade school.
- Strong interest in mechanical systems, manufacturing, machining, or engineering.
- Eagerness to learn new skills in a hands-on environment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Dependable and safety-conscious mindset.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to visually inspect detailed part features.
