About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical or Computer Engineering student to join our team as an intern for Summer 2027. You will work on the design, development, and testing of electronic and electromechanical systems. This role provides hands-on experience in a laboratory environment, supporting engineers with technical tasks and process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and analyze electronics systems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform necessary modifications.
- Assemble and fabricate electrical and mechanical components.
- Set up and conduct tests on units, then analyze the results to adjust equipment.
- Compile design and test data for evaluation.
- Assist in the design and procurement of tools, machines, and fixtures.
- Create and maintain process documentation, bills of materials, and route sheets.
- Review project drawings to support design for manufacturing.
- Help develop plant layouts and manufacturing methods.
- Coordinate maintenance projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Computer Engineering college program.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Novice technical skills with some familiarity with shop or laboratory equipment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD security clearance.

- This position is based on-site in Cypress, California.
- The role is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
