About the role#
This Electrical Engineering Co-Op position offers hands-on experience in hardware design and testing. You will work with engineering teams in Pittsfield, Massachusetts during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Translate high-level assembly concepts into clear, testable hardware requirements.
- Participate in the design, development, and prototyping of hardware components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to learn design processes and solve technical challenges.
- Develop, document, and execute verification test procedures for hardware.
- Analyze test data and communicate your findings to the team.
- Identify ways to improve hardware performance, usability, and manufacturability.
- Explore responsible ways to use AI to improve engineering efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A standing of sophomore or higher is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- U.S. citizenship is required to meet eligibility for access to classified information.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred.
