About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Melbourne, Florida. You will work on-site for 12 to 14 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will collaborate with and learn from experienced engineers within the Electro-Optical and Infrared Systems line of business.
What you'll do#
- Conduct limited scope testing under the guidance of staff engineers.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Perform design analysis and calculations with supervision.
- Assist engineers with specific design details.
- Complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to learn about engineering methods, programs, and team practices.
- Support and reinforce the mission and values of the organization.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current engineering student.
- You must hold a high school diploma or GED.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- You must have the ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance.
