About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our FPGA Engineering group in Dedham, Massachusetts. You will work on defense programs, supporting the development of products for national security missions. This role involves working on projects of low to medium complexity under the guidance of an FPGA lead and experienced peers.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the analysis, design, integration, and verification of FPGA designs and RTL.
- Collaborate with team members to write code and perform unit tests using HDL languages like SystemVerilog, VHDL, and UVM.
- Coordinate with other engineering and manufacturing departments to support project goals.
- Communicate project status and discuss technical challenges with project leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preference for students with junior standing or higher.
- A solid understanding of engineering technology.
