About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support the design and development of electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft, as well as ground stations. You will gain hands-on experience working across various aircraft platforms and systems, including avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD software.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Manufacturing, Production, and Systems Engineering teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Support the testing and integration of systems directly on the aircraft.
- Perform tasks such as electrical loads analysis and load shedding scheme development.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software.

- Location: Palm Bay, Florida.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
- This position is on-site.
