About the role#
L3Harris is looking for an Application Development Intern to join the Enterprise Data and AI team. You will support the company data platform, known as the Unified Data Layer, by developing and maintaining data pipelines. This role involves managing the data life cycle, from extraction and cleansing to building visualizations for business users.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow across the enterprise.
- Manage pipeline schedules, orchestrate workflows, and monitor the overall health of data systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data synchronization issues to ensure consistent information from source systems.
- Develop mechanisms for data cleansing, consolidation, and integration to support large-scale analytics.
- Build visualizations using Palantir Foundry tools.
- Assist business users with testing, documentation, and data maintenance guides.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse development methodologies.
- Experience with Python, Pandas, Databricks, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of connecting to and extracting data from ERP applications like Oracle EBS, SAP ECC/S4, Deltek Costpoint, or REST APIs.

- This position is based on-site in Rochester, New York.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
