About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support both new product development and factory operations for existing products. You will work on-site in Tempe, Arizona, as part of a full-time schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering tasks for new product development.
- Provide mechanical engineering support for factory operations.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
- Create and process engineering change orders (ECOs).
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor, master, or PhD program for Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Exposure to CAD or finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
- Experience with the design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms.
Location & details#
- Location: Tempe, Arizona.
- Schedule: 9/80 work week, which includes every other Friday off.
- This is a paid, on-site internship.
