About the role#
We are looking for a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team in Rochester. This is a full-time, paid position that follows a rolling schedule. You will work on-site and participate in a 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements from end users and systems.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
- Create test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Run tests and document the results.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware/software troubleshooting methods.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering at an accredited university.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Rochester, New York.
- The pay range for this position is $25.50 to $28.50 per hour.
