About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work on real-world projects that impact the organization. You will build cross-functional relationships across departments while gaining experience in change management and learning and development. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete project work related to your field of study and present your findings to team members and senior leaders.
- Handle day-to-day background tasks to learn process fundamentals.
- Participate in the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
- Identify areas that lack cohesiveness and work with the team to resolve issues.
- Find ways to drive out waste and improve processes.
- Support business objectives by maintaining familiarity with company operating systems, including quality and security standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Human Resources.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours, work in various temperatures, and lift at least 10 pounds.
- Experience in manufacturing or the poultry industry is preferred.
