About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program for the Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Group. You will work on strategic assignments including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements. This role provides exposure to the firm and its investment banking operations. A portion of permanent Analyst positions are filled through this program.
What you'll do#
- Research and prepare presentation materials for pitch books and memorandums.
- Build financial models to analyze client projects.
- Collaborate with team members ranging from peer analysts to managing directors.
- Support business development efforts for senior investment bankers.
- Maintain and update deal databases for specific teams.
- Assist with daily deal team responsibilities and client relations.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status in college.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- General financial knowledge and interest in areas like modeling and macroeconomics.
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
