About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program within the Investment Banking Group. You will work on strategic assignments including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements. This program serves as a pipeline for permanent analyst positions at the firm.
What you'll do#
- Research and prepare presentation materials for pitch books and memorandums.
- Build financial models to analyze client-specific projects.
- Collaborate with team members ranging from peer analysts to managing directors.
- Support senior investment bankers with business development activities.
- Maintain deal databases and assist with daily administrative tasks to support client relations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior in college majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- You have a general understanding of financial modeling, macroeconomics, and current events.
- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You are proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You can handle confidential information with discretion.
- You are a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.
- You are willing to work long hours, nights, and weekends as required by the workflow.
