About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Van Buren, Arkansas. You will work on real-world projects that address current challenges within our facility. This role balances project work with daily tasks to provide a well-rounded experience. You will present your findings to the team and senior leaders at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Build a culture of continuous improvement to refine processes and reduce waste.
- Ensure quality performance meets or exceeds all USDA, FDA, and company guidelines.
- Participate in the development and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
- Maintain familiarity with company operating systems, security policies, and office environment.
- Work on your feet for multiple hours and lift at least 10 pounds.
- Work in various temperatures and wear required personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and general computer skills.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- A willingness to take charge and offer direction.
- Experience in manufacturing or the poultry industry is preferred.
