About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work on real-world projects within the Learning and Development department. You will build cross-functional relationships and gain experience in plant training operations. The role balances project work with daily tasks to help you understand process fundamentals and gain a well-rounded perspective of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Complete a solution-seeking project relevant to your department and present your findings to the team and senior leaders at the end of the summer.
- Perform daily tasks to learn process fundamentals and support business objectives.
- Help develop a continuous improvement culture by finding ways to drive out waste.
- Participate in team meetings, policy communication, and the implementation of team concepts.
- Ensure work meets quality performance standards and company guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Human Resources.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds.
