About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work on projects that address real-world problems. You will work within the Chemistry Lab to understand process fundamentals while contributing to the daily operations of the facility. At the end of the summer, you will present your project findings to the team and senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Execute project work that applies your academic studies to actual business challenges.
- Perform background tasks to learn the fundamentals of laboratory processes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of team policies and programs.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying ways to reduce waste.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure best practices and attend regular meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree program in Chemistry or a related field.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to use computers and software programs effectively.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours, work in various temperatures, and lift at least 10 pounds.
