About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work on projects that impact the organization. You will gain experience through a mix of project-based assignments and daily operational tasks. At the end of the summer, you will present your findings to leadership. This role is paid and full-time.
What you'll do#
- Solve a real-world problem through a dedicated project.
- Perform daily tasks to understand process fundamentals.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement to reduce waste.
- Ensure quality performance meets company, USDA, and FDA guidelines.
- Participate as a team member in the implementation of programs, policies, and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds.
