About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy. This role is designed to complement your academic studies with real world training.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all consent requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Improve your communication skills when interacting with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Gain insight into the expanding roles of the community pharmacist.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.

- Location: Delta, British Columbia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
