About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical, real world training within a community pharmacy setting. You will gain experience in the daily operations of a retail pharmacy while preparing for a future career as a pharmacist. You will work under the guidance of a local Associate-Owner.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, disease state management, and patient counseling.
- Improve your communication skills when interacting with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- You are currently pursuing pharmacy studies.
- You have the ability to work in a community pharmacy setting.
- You are focused on providing a positive experience for pharmacy customers.

- Location: 579 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, ON.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
