About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local store owner while gaining exposure to the operations of a retail pharmacy. This role is designed to supplement your academic studies with real-world training.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage patient privacy, confidentiality, and consent requirements.
- Learn about drug therapy, disease state management, and over-the-counter products.
- Develop skills in patient counseling and retail pharmacy management.
- Participate in training to prepare for a career in community pharmacy.
