About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students in a community pharmacy setting. You will work within a locally owned store to support health and wellness services. The role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for the community environment while providing hands-on training that complements your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Maintain clear identification to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
- Develop skills in managing a retail pharmacy.
- Enhance your communication with patients, staff, and health care workers.
- Expand your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.

- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly range of $17.60 to $30.00.
