About the role#
This pharmacy internship provides practical experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store to deliver health, beauty, and convenience services while supporting the overall customer experience. This role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for success by providing real-world training that complements academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy and provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop professional skills including patient counseling, drug therapy knowledge, disease state management, and retail pharmacy operations.
- Enhance communication skills through interactions with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- A commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining professional standards.
- Interest in learning the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.

- Schedule: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour.
