About the role#
This is a paid internship opportunity for students or graduates pursuing a career as a pharmacist. You will work in a retail pharmacy environment in Etobicoke, Ontario. This role provides practical experience in a community setting to complement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent.
- Assist with health and wellness services for the community.
- Learn the operational aspects of managing a retail pharmacy.
- Support patient counseling and communicate with other health care workers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from a program in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- A genuine interest in community pharmacy practice.
- A willingness to learn about drug therapy and disease state management.
