About the role#
LAPORTE is looking for a pharmacy process intern to join the team in Montreal. This is a full-time, paid position. You will work on-site at our office and contribute to engineering projects for industrial pharmaceutical, biotech, and food processing facilities.
What you'll do#
- Design process installations.
- Prepare process diagrams including PFD and P&ID.
- Draft plans and technical specifications.
- Select and specify necessary equipment.
- Coordinate installation, startup, and on-site testing.
- Follow up with suppliers and contractors.
- Work with the interdisciplinary project team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the third year of an engineering program or expected graduation within one year of the internship.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCad or Revit.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities.
- Previous experience in process design within manufacturing or consulting is an asset.
